I thought the Pomerol-like succulence, hedonistic forwardness, and gorgeously proportioned, seamless 2001 Tor Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 4 to be even better than the West Block, although it probably will not be as long lived. It possesses plenty of tannin, but it is barely noticeable. A deep ruby/purple color is followed by a sumptuous perfume of melted licorice, black cherry liqueur, cedar, and spice box. Intense, impeccably well-balanced, and pure, it will benefit from 1-2 years of cellaring, and keep for 12-15.

I would be amazed if this wine did not last thirty years. Drink between 2004-2034.
